 This
course is aimed to give you the knowledge to undertake with confidence
the art of gilding.During this course you will learn how to prepare
the object you intend to gild and be introduced to different types
of gilding with gold leaf and silver leaf that can be applied to
many types of materials such as timber, gesso, glass, clay, iron
and cast iron for both internal and external use. You will learn
the ancient art of water-gilding and oil-gilding, the use of the
agate stones for burnishing and how to age your work.Also you will
learn when and how to use aluminium leaf to imitate silver or gold
leaf. This course will teach you how to make a mould to reconstruct
and replace a missing part of a picture frame.If you are interested
