The
airbrush allows artists to achieve colour transitions,
the coverage of large areas in a short time and photo realistic
quality in their artwork. Its uses are limitless and a valuable
tool in the artists arsenal.
Miniature painting, using the
airbrush is known as ‘Modern miniature painting.’
With this course we will be covering topics such as portraits,
animals and landscapes and the various surfaces that can be painted
such as metal, plastic, wood and pottery. We will also be showing
you the best way to paint on collectable objects such as pens,
knives, corkscrews etc. Not to forget the wonderful results that
can be achieved on mother of pearl surfaces, pendants, brooches
and other exquisite jewellery.
The course is intended for those
who have a desire to specialise in the field of Modern miniature
art and for those who would like to learn to use the airbrush
in general. We cater for complete beginners to advanced students
and create a warm and friendly environment for them to work in.
